8 Promises You Can Count On In a Crisis

A few weeks ago my pastor, Tim Harkness, shared 8 promises you and I can count on in a crisis. It was such a pertinent list for my cancer journey that I knew I had to make it into a printable that I could post on my fridge. I thought you might like that too!

With Pastor Tim’s permission, we made a Hearts at Home printable you can download here.  I hope it’s as helpful to you as it is to me!

  1. Hi Jill,

I’m praying for God’s comfort and love to surround you and His strength to hold you up right now. Thank you so much for this. I have printed these promises out and will put it on our fridge so it’s handy for whenever they are needed.

We are not going through a crisis currently, but my oldest daughter still struggles with anxiety. I believe she is doing better since she started a new job two weeks ago. It will bring its own challenges since she will be earning less than half her previous income. However, thanks to Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace classes (she listened to the first several on the discs when we took it) I believe she is financially prepared. She is also realizing her dream of pursuing her art on a freelance basis and starting up an etsy shop. What will become of that, I don’t know but I do know that she is feeling less stressed and anxious.

Thank you so much for all that you do for us moms and on behalf of families. I know that I have been helped so much from the advice that you have passed down from your own experiences and from others.

  2. Thank you for this!! Perfect for not allowing the enemy to steal the truth from us when we might be down and feeling defeated! Praying for you Jill!
