Many years ago my friend Kendra shared a very easy brownie recipe with me that has become a family favorite.  I thought I’d share it with you today!

Now I LOVE warm brownies out of the over, but I think these are best room temperature. You want the marshmallows to set up.

All you need are three things:

  • 1 or 2 boxes of brownies (9×13 pan)
  • Small bag of mini-marshmallows (you probably won’t use the whole bag)
  • 1 can of chocolate frosting

Bake 1 or 2 boxes of 9x13 pan brownies (we often do two boxes to make them thicker)

Pour a single layer of miniature marshmallows over the hot brownies as soon as they come out of the oven.

Put the brownies back in the over for 2-3 minutes so the marshmallows puff up.

Take the lid and the foil topping off the can of frosting. Melt frosting in microwave for one minute until it is pourable.

Slowly pour the frosting over the marshmallows working to cover as much of the marshmallow surface as possible.

Let brownies come to room temperature (about 2 hours) and then enjoy!!!
