Thank you to those of you who shared your honest emotions yesterday.  I’m so thankful for the honesty here.  I’m also touched by how several of you were ministering to one another on yesterday’s post.

There were several experiencing happy emotions, but there was also an overwhelming amount of pain being experienced.

I read many of your responses sitting on my front porch gazing occasionally out at some of the beautiful blooming trees and flowers in my yard.  Living in a 100-year-old farmhouse allows me to enjoy the labors of past home owners who planted flowering bushes and bulbs. We’ve added some of our own over the years, as well.

Today we need hope, so I’m bringing it with truth and pictures.  You’ll find a list of feelings below and some of God’s words in the Bible that will bring hope in the midst of whatever emotions you are experiencing.

You’ll also find some pictures that I snapped in my yard yesterday.  There’s something about seeing the beauty of God’s creation and the budding of new life after a cold winter that does something for the soul.

If you want to look up the verses online, you can easily do so at Biblegateway.com.  Just copy any verse below and paste it into the search box on Biblegateway.  You can also easily change Bible versions…I personally like NIV (New International Version) or the Message Bible.

May God’s truth and creation bring us the hope that we need today.

  1. Thank you, Jill. The pictures provided an element of peace to coincide with the wonderful list of Scripture verses. Knowing He is an ever-present help is always a welcomed reminder. Crazy how we tend to forget that sometimes!
His best to you and your family,

  2. Thank you for todays post. I have printed it, for my reference, for the scriptures. Thank you! You are a true inspiration and have been in my thoughts and prayers!

  3. Thank you so much for the references to scripture. I love when it’s presented in this way. Makes it easy to reference the Bible quickly when you are in need.

    • Leah, what are the real emotions behind “blah and unsure?” Dig into that a little. Unsure could be fear. Blah….what do you think?

  4. My sweet cyber friend…THANK YOU so much for the beautiful scripture verses…I have printed multiple copies and plan to share with my sisters in Sunday school this Sunday. Your photos are breath taking…no wonder you love where you live. I pray daily for you and your family. I know that HE is in control and all things are according to His will and purpose. May you be blessed today because you are a blessing to all of us!

Smiles & Blessings Abound, Robin 🙂
