Our Basque Son

Last summer we had the privilege of hosting a young man from the Basque region of Spain through an exchange program called SUSA. Inigo brightened our home with his laughter, his vibrant personality, and his love for life.

He loved his US visit so much last year that he decided to come back this summer for another one month visit on his own!  Even though he was hosted by a different family this summer we still got to spend precious time with him!

I love how God connects the dots in our relationships! Our hearts will forever be knit together with this young man who lives on the other side of the world.  I’m not sure what God’s up to, but he has big plans for this young man named Inigo.

Congrats on the new little blessing. We are so lucky to have our 5! But specifically speaking about our 3rd…he is sweet, with a kind and quiet disposition. He is a balance among the other children. So amazing….the different gifts that God gives each of them. God has such an amazing plan for each of them! Embrace each childs’ unique gifts, that our creator gave them! Enjoy each day, week, year, & season of their lives…it goes by fast!
