So I’m still doing my “Lean Body Bootcamp” three times a week at 5:15 in the morning.

In the fall, I had very little problem getting up in the mornings.  I was loving the routine I was in.

Then I hurt my back in December so I was unable to go to class for 6 weeks.

Now I’m back in class and things are a little harder.  When my alarm goes off at 4:45 a.m. I can think of a hundred reasons why I should shut the alarm off and go back to sleep.

Then I remember Crystal.

Crystal is my friend who goes to class with me. We alternate driving to class so either I need to pick her up or within 15 minutes she will be picking me up.

Oh, the beauty of accountability.

I tend to be of an independent nature.  I like to do my own thing.  I’m pretty self-motivated.  Except, of course, at 4:45 in the morning.

Let’s face it…we need each other. Sometimes we need to encourage one another. Sometimes we need to help one another.  Sometimes we need to hold each other accountable.

Especially at 4:45 in the morning.

What about you?  How have you found accountability to be helpful in your life?
