I want to know what you think.  I enjoy blogging, but I’d love to know more about you and what you want to read!  I’ve created a little survey that will allow you to let me know your thoughts!  Could you take a few minutes and share some feedback with me?  You’ll find the survey HERE.  Thank you!

So a little over a week ago, I was on the receiving end of a random act of kindness.  Mark and I were out on a date and we decided to go to Fresh Market grocery store.  It’s a high end grocery store with a lot of specialty foods. We didn’t go to buy anything…just to walk around and look and see all that they had.

As we were getting ready to leave, Mark headed to the bathroom.  I sat on a bench near the door waiting for him.  A few minutes later a young woman walked up to me and put a gift card in my hand.  She said a few kind words and turned around and walked out the door.  Before I could even think, she was gone.  I was left feeling kissed by God.

I’ve been on the receiving end of generosity before, but never a random act of kindness. That woman must have been in the checkout line and felt prompted to do something nice.  Most of us dismiss those thoughts when they happen.  But what if we acted on them instead?

Her kindness has challenged me.  I want to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and be obedient. I want to be a blessing to someone who needs a kiss from God.  I want to surprise someone with generosity.  It doesn’t have to cost something, it could just be offering a kind word, or a compliment, or a leaving a note for someone…even a complete stranger!

So would you like to join me?  Want to be the hands and feet of Jesus?  Want to join me in watching for opportunities to love on someone?   I’d love to hear the stories.  I’d also love to hear if you’ve ever been on the receiving end of a random act of kindness.

Don’t forget the survey.  You’ll find it HERE!  Thanks so much!
