It is crazy at how bad I needed to forgive myself this morning. God knows just what I need, just when I need it…..and He used you this morning… thank you! 🙂 AND we are going on an ice cream run today! 🙂
Last summer, we did weekly day trips and I did not tell my kids where we were going each time. I was able to document each of these trips with pictures and at Christmas, I gave each of my kids their own photo book with pictures from each of our day trips. We had lots of great times and discovered a few new places.

Jill – your post was very timely!! At dinner last night, when I asked my 2 teengers what we should do tonight (Dad is out of town), our 15-year-old daughter said, “Want to go buy a guinea pig?” I answered, “Sure! Let’s go!” In fact, we came home with 2 guinea pigs (her 16-year-old brother wanted one too!), and I think my surprise “YES” will be something they will always remember. We added 2 sweet furry members to our family, and they have a new brother-sister connection now taking care of their furry babies. Fun memories.
